Bumper Question

I bought a new rear bumper for my 73 Cuda, because the current bumper is sheared in two, somehow, and the left third of it is just hanging (looks great by the way ).  Now that I look closely, there is a metal piece it bolts to, which in turn looks like it bolts to the rear frame rails.  What is this bumper-long metal piece called so I can replace it...and where can I buy it (don't remember seeing it anywhere).  Thanks.

I think you're talking about the support piece that fits in behind the bumper??     Pics would help.  If it is, haven't seen them available anywhere either.    Think I have a couple though . . . .

Unfortunately I don't have a camera at the moment, so I guess all I can say is it looks like a piece of steel behind the rear bumper, roughly as tall, and running the width of the vehicle like the bumper.  Would you be willing to sell your extra?  If so, what's fair?  Thanks.
