Removing Headlight Grill Assembly
« on: March 04, 2006 - 12:01:08 PM »
I am trying to remove the grill headlight assembly (not sure exact term). The bumper brackets curve up preventing me from getting it out.

I notice the bumper brackets bolt through the front frame rails. Can I remove the bumper bracket without affecting anything else?

Or do I have to remove the front fenders?

Hope the pictures can provide a better explanation.

you need to remove the bumper brakets , I would soak them with penetrating oil & use heat to get them out withotu damage

I wish I had asked questions before I removed my front bumper and grill.  :(  It was like they were not meant to come apart in any sequence... I ended up cracking what was an otherwise "perfect" grill  :banghead:

So...., what is the sequence to put them back on??  :dunno:
