rough cuda covertible wanted, any condition
« on: February 18, 2003 - 12:10:13 PM »
I am looking for a cuda convertible to restore.
Nothing is too rough. Nothing is too rusted or wrecked.
I am using muscle cars to teach youth body work, chassis and engines. So the more work to be done the better. Anybody know of any cuda's out there that nobody else wants to tackle?
We are currently doing a 70 AAR, numbers matching 4 spd. Need rear springs for it. It was incredibly rough but I think we have it saved (almost).

Now that is one worth-while adventure!  Where are you located.  I'll keep a look out for you.

Thanks for the reply.
I am not quite sure how this message board works yet.
Hope I am doing this right.
I am in northern Indiana.
The kids around here are getting pretty fired up over old muscle cars. I am surprised how many prefer the oldies once they are exposed to them.
I think they really appreciate the fact that they can actually work on them themselves. The new cars are impossible for them to understand (me too) but the old ones can actually be figured out and are fun to boot.
Past projects have been old mustangs and camaros.
Just recently got the aar and a 70 barracuda coupe. I have always loved old mopars, now I am totally hooked.
Kids think they are "very tight" (I think that means awesome today).
The aar will be as original as possible, but we are building the 70 coupe into 440 6pack or hemi clone. :D Probably 6 pack because of hemi costs. :-[ I have located a 69 440 in good shape, need the 6 pack set up if anyone has one?
