West Virgina Newb
« on: March 09, 2006 - 06:10:13 AM »
Hello everyone. Im a long time Mopar fan but a first time cuda' owner. Never thought I'd get a chance to own one actually. I did own a 69 Barracuda notchback as my first car, but I quickly dumped it for a more solid 70 Dart Swinger. Ive owned and own many Mopars. None as cool as a cuda' though.

I bought a 73 basket case. By the looks of it, Im needing a lot technical support on this one. Not as much as financial support though, maybe you guys could help on both, ;)

Hey Gonzo!  Welcome to the board.  We all need financial support in this hobby!  :roflsmiley:  We can help with the technical stuff though!  Post any questions in the Tech section and you'll get an answer!

Glad to have you on board.  Post up some pics when you get a chance.

Thanks guys, I just bought a 73 Barracuda off of eRob. You may have seen it, it was the ragged out primer black with the fiberglass front.
Im not a fan of rollbars, fiberglass front or no grilles, but at the rate things are going I thought I better jump on an E-body before it was too late. Ive been outbid on 3 Challengers before this one.
Hopefully I can get some parts together to make the car presentable, Ive got a 360 and a 440 waiting for a home.

Welcome to the site, Gonzocuda!  I think I remember seeing that car on the web, but don't really remember.  It sounds like you have your work cut out for you, but ask any questions you may have and I'm sure you'll get it all back together and out pounding the streets.
