Thanks for the tip OldSchool, I missed that thread.
If it were my car on the line, I'd want a tree, etc., but then again, if it were my car on the line I'd lose, and that's talking about a bracket race. It seems like they simulate street racing pretty well to me (not that I know that much), but to the best of my knowledge, when two guys go head to head agreeing on pink slips, it's one race (not 3), and even up (no car negotiated lengths). My critique is I'd like to see one deciding run, and for the audience at home, I'd like them to post the stats of each car as well as the quarter-mile times.
I'm amazed about the guy with the corvette refusing to take car lengths. I respect that with everything I have, but if it were my little Cuda, I couldn't turn it down...or run the risk of losing it in the first place! Oh well, I still like the show. Watching people lose their cars to sandbaggers isn't the best, but knowing how many hours of work and love and care go into fixing up a car from scratch, my heart bleeds every time I see a guy hand over a car, so I've gotta watch, unless they don't show any MOPAR's.
