My Place Got Vandalized
« on: March 15, 2006 - 10:46:12 PM »
Well came out this morning expecting to start another day as normal when I notice on sidewalk tire marks then I looked in the yard and saw them too. Did further investigation and nobody else in the neighborhood had them. What's even more funnier is there are no skid marks on the streets as I checked those too. Just in the yard. I personally believe someone who has a grudge against me did this or put someone up to it. This person has threatened to harass me in public and also they told me they wanted me dead or they wanted me to die. Here's some pictures of the carnage. Funny thing is they drove in between the trees and poles. I've never had this happen in the two years I have lived here and at first I thought it was a drunk driver but, the marks look intentional.

I think your taking it a little over the top my friend.
No one out to get you and if that's there way of showing it you have nothing to worry about.

A few marks on your front lawn is better than a bleeding hand or ear in a tissue on your porch.
Relax, to me it looks nothing more than some guy in a 4x4/car showing off to either his punk friends/girlfriend.

Yep looks like you got your first "lawn job" as we like to call it. Living on a corner your bound to get more. A fence or a nice big rock on the edge of your lawn will stop that. Could be someone you know, but probably just some young punks screwing around. I would ask the neighbors if they saw anything though.

On the corner like that I would think somebody saw something. Ask around.
Why would somebody wish you dead?

Well guys you might be right but, then again I can't take any chances. You see there is someone that's toying with me right now. I'm not going into details but, I'm not being over the top. I'll honestly say this person told me they wanted me to die. Yes, it's a female and note in one of the pictures I found a hair tie. Could mean something or nothing.

I live on a corner lot also, and have had this happen. You can however put your video camera and VCR, or surveillance camera setup that takes at certain intervals to see who may try it again. Believe me it won't be the last time. You can always use the evidence to inform police, and recoup any money for damages.

Well my first impression about this pic is that this is a skid mark which would mean that the brakes were locked up.  Possibly someone lost control and bounced up through your yard??  As for the girl . . . talk is cheap.  I don't think I would lose much sleep over either situation.   :2cents:

If it's a skid mark, then someone made a little miscalculation.  :eek7:  If it's a burnout mark, then it is definitely intentional.

The teenagers call it "turfing" where I come from.
It is a modern day version of toilet papering someones house. Or soaping windows.

Looks like a burnout mark to me, if it was a skidmark wouldnt both wheels have locked up at the same time?
