My 71 Parts car
« on: February 12, 2006 - 09:22:21 AM »
This is my parts car for my 71 RR. Its a sad site. I acctually found this car back in 83 in a local salvage yard when it was open. Some morron  :dupe: wanted a roadrunner windshield for his boat. So this car sacreficed its windshield for that. Now fast forward to 2004. I know the nephew of the owner of the yard. He tells me they are fixing to crush some of the cars in the yard. It has been closed now for about 10 or 15 years. This car was sill in there, after I asked. So it was saved from crushing, but it was to far gone to save. Sad thing is the trunk and rear quarters were better on it than my 71. This car was also factory Plum Crazy, with a white interior and white vinyl top. Since these pics were taken I have cut it up and saved all that I could. trunk floor, rear quarters, fenders, ect....I probably have 70% of the car in my back yard. Thought yall might like to see the pics.

Sorry, but that is one of the main parts I need for my RR.  It will be nice when somone repops a repair quarter, or a complete qrt, or even just a patch panel.

Thanks, I looked for a place like that myself and couldnt find it. I will look it over and see what they say. I would consider trading my 71 and all teh parts from the parts car for a Little Red Exspress. Its the one toy I have wanted since I was a kid that I have been unable to get my hands on.
