Summit Sub-frame Connectors....Any Good?

Are these sub-frame connectors any good?  I'm looking at buying them...soon.

Couldn't tell which one's you were asking about since the link came up with 62 items when I checked it out.  I bought the Mopar subframe connectors. They took a jack to force them into place on the rear sub-frame since they should have been angled slightly from front to rear but weren't.  I haven't yet been able to test the change on the track, but I did notice substantially less "creaking" when I went over bumps, etc.  I'd say they work.

PS. Thanks for changing Angus to a static image.  He was giving me a headache!

For my money, the Magnum Force connectors are the ticket. They are very compact and are virtually undetectable from side views. As far as summit and most others, by the time you get them to fit your car, might as well go buy some 2x3 rectangular tube and MIG your own to get the fit you want.

I bought the ones that US Tool makes, at Mancini Racing, Haven't installed them yet so I can't realy comment on them, but they sure look like they'll do the job. That said, my car will see some trackduty.

On the straighs, Power, Power! Real fun beeing the only american Iron out there. All others where euro and jap.

Hey Carl, I really like the weld in connectors, like falcon50flyer said, just get some material and build your own. I believe there are threads on here talking how to install your own, maybe they were wiped out with the server changes but not sure. I would get the kind that just weld on each end, that way you won't be removing the carpet and needing to re paint the floor area from welding on it.

I will be bolting them in as I don't want to weld anything to Lucy.

Look at the car behind him...it's natural and I doubt very much that sway bars alone will effect the cars roll.
It's an E-Body.....they will always roll............

Yeah, I need swaybars too.. got one in front, need a larger one, and I need one in the back too. And I need larger wheels with less rubber to handle the g-forces. Can't afford everything at once, especialy with the paint and the rust welding. But I do got new Hemi torsion bars, new shocks (old where busted in front, hijackers at the rear), new balljoints and energy suspention polyurethane brushings pluss the sub-frame connectors, so there will be a huge improvement anyway. Aside from the handling/steering bit, trackday also told me I need more brakes, more power and a rightside mirror.
