I have a 73 Dodge manual, I would think that your Barracuda & my Challenger would be the same.   #1 fise , 20amps, serves brake warning light, oil pressure lamp, & seat belt lamp/relay/buzzer                Has there been any alterations/repairs made recently?             Be sure your voltage regulator is well mounted & has a GOOD ground.          Wild hunch, see if you emergency flashers are on, off position is pushed in.

Seen various mystery problems traced to the voltage regulator. corrosion & loose mount make for loss of ground.

I would like to let you know in case anyone has this promblem.I found it to be the wire that feeds my fuse panel from the starter relay the contact at my fuse panel block was going bad. That caused loss of power to the car than the car would run off the alternator causing spikes to my radio and Tach light. It had nothing to do with the #1 fuse :drama: Thanks
