Challenger restoration on TV
« on: March 26, 2006 - 11:00:30 AM »
I just came across this. There is a program on Spike TV called Muscle Car. It was on at 8:30 AM and will be on at 11:30 AM on Sundays. That is Pacific Time. They are restoring a Challenger and will be installing a crate hemi in it. In this show they just mounted the Challenger on a rotisserie and started striping the body of parts and rust.

yeah I saw it too. It seemed they indicated that the Challenger was the one in Fast and Furious II. Is that true?

a little off topic but at the World of Wheels show last month in Atlanta I bought a 2 pack set vcr tapes on "how to get max performance from your Challenger".....pretty cool video using a 1971 Challenger...looks like from the late 80's

Ran into it again. Yeah it was one of 7 of the cars in the movie. Looks to be a FY1 car originally.
