« on: March 24, 2006 - 04:45:02 PM »
Ran across this parts list of vintage parts still available at the dealer, found it interesting  :smokin:

I have no reason not to believe it at this point. I do recognize a lot of parts that are sold as new NOS. For example the gas tank grommet I just bought is on there. I have emailed my dealer with a parts request for a 1670694: filter-gas tank sending unit pickup,5/16" a/m $6.25. I should get a response Monday as to availability & price. Will advise.

I had my dealer run 3 of those part numbers and all three showed up as available.  2 were with a "P" in front of them (mopar performance / not NOS) and the 3rd there was (qty of 75) NOS available.  I think the list is legit.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I remember a thread not to long ago that listed some parts available from the dealer but not this extensive.  :wow:

No good news from Huntsville, AL re: fuel pickup filter. My local Dodge dealer says
"this part is no longer available from Chrysler. there are a couple of dealers that have stock. Country Side Motors 1-800-777-6776 and Ballinger's Inc. 1-800-305-9780. call one of these dealers to see if they will ship you the part."
I do see several offered for $10.00 & up + good ole " shipping & handling"
Would some of you call your local dealerships & see if we can get some? 1670694: filter-gas tank sending unit pickup,5/16" a/m $6.25  It appears there are several CC.C folks that are interested. Heck maybe we could corner the market on what's left.  :smokin:

If you are talking about the filter on the end of the sending unit, Year-One has them. Yes, you have to pay for shipping.  :22yikes:
