1970 R/T challenger original colour or not
« on: April 01, 2006 - 03:24:35 PM »
Hi Guys,

I have a 70 R/T Challenger not matching numbers engine,
Its  factory FK5 dark burnt orange metallic with white roof and white bumble bee stripe,
burnt orange interior.
I was thinking about painting it sublime with black interior.
I dont know if I should keep it original or not.
What do you guys think

Mopar or no car

Personally I would love that color combination, if it were mine I would stick with it.

It is you car though, so do what makes you happy.

You have nothing to lose mate, if it were my car I would do the same as you.
Burnt Orange does nothing for my tastes either...you have no #'s engine to worry about....GO WILD!!

as long as you know the original color and it is documented ( if it isn't on fender tag or build sheet it won't matter anyway)  you can change it and always put it back to original.
