Fender Bolts Needed
« on: June 25, 2006 - 12:23:05 PM »
I have not been able to locate the fender bolts/studs that mount to the cowl and the bottom of the fender for my restoration project. The originals are to badly rusted to use except for one. These are 5/18" - 18 studs that are 1 5/8" long and bolts that have a large (1 1/8") washer attached to them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, someone on this board has a relative that makes up kits, please jump in & post up a link, I can't remember who it was?
Short of that, year one definatly has fender bolts, but they were black, not sure if they have a kit with the studs, u-nuts & nuts for the studs. A kit I got off ebay had the anodized ones, but that was a complete(well almost) resto kit.the u-nuts were all the same though, did not have the slightly larger ones for the bottom of the fender. hope this helps some,Rich.

Thanks, Rich - I looked on both Year One and Paddock (and some bolt sources I used on eBay previously) and could only find the top mounted bolts and U-nuts. Here is a pic of what I am looking for...

Hi, One of these two places might help you out. They both advertise in the
Mopar mags.   R/T Specialties   www.rtspecialties.net
                    Mr. G's   www.mrgusa.com
There's probably a lot more out there so you should be able to get what you
need without too much hassle. Goodluck!  Jeff
