standing, facing the car.....the radiator support number should be just right of center, and is usually on the back side of the support although I have seen them on top of the support too....
sitting in the drivers seat.... the cowl number is just about straight ahead....open the hood and it is on top of the cowl...
both numbers are stamped into the car and may not be very visible, espacially if the car has had a repaint or two....
naturally, the vin tag on the dash and the fender tag on top of the drivers side inner fender will both have the full vin#....
all four places should have a matching vin#....the ones on the cowl and radiator support will just have the last 8 digits
engine and trans also have numbers on them....a pad on the lower passenger side on the engine block and a pad on the passenger side of the transmission will also have the last 8 digits of the vin#....with the front wheels turned hard either direction you can lay on your back and shine a light on them....
