Nice find and that does not happen very often anymore. Hope it all works out and keep us posted on any information you find out about the car.

I just noticed it looks in almost to good of a condition to be a bran type find....
You can see what looks to be some kind of aftermarket "speed" shop decal in the window in red.

Maybe this car has been stolen and dumped where it is?
Is it actually in someones back yard or in like the middle of the woods?  :dunno:

That's very cool, Mopartist!!!!  I wish I could find cars like that out in the woods by me.  As for your question, I'd say the father-son project usually is the best thing to say.  As for the car, it looks really solid and will be either a Rallye car for sure or at least have the Rallye front fenders installed for you already if it wasn't an original Rallye car.  Best of luck with the potential sale and if you do hear back from them, be sure to let us know how things go for you.  Oh, and I'd take up Cody's offer if I were you....I think he could persuade the people to sell it. :grinyes: (The people would be like :faint: when they saw him at the door.) :roflsmiley:

Yeah; it's a back yard area. The lots around where I live are 1 acre parcels. If you look on the pic; there's a wire fence running right behind the car. Either these people are dirt poor or are maybe tenants renting the 60s something single wide mobile on the property. But I couldn't imagine somebody keeping their classic Mopar where there poor tenants live. I'd be afraid they would part it out for meth money!

I sent the letter this morning and omited the part about using it as a donor car. (What was I thinking!? Worse than letting it desolve) :eek2:

I'll let you know as soon as I hear something. Here's the actual view from the road without trying to zoom it up in Photoshop

Are those Rallye vents on the fenders?

I was able to zoom in on them and they definitely are the rallye vents. The pic is all blurred when I tried to save it though.
