Looks like a sweet car to me!!  Very cool!!  First thing I would do is get rid of that flex radiator hose!  Ugly!   :eek7:  Nice buy!!

Considering the money you'd have spent to get the dragster streetable, looks like this one was the much better buy.  I'd say the second time was the charm!  Congrats!

That's a tough question.  A lot has been put into it, but on the other hand, it took a heck of a knock, on the other hand, a body shop didn't quote a figure but said it would be too expensive, but on the other hand, I don't think it would be that bad with the luxury of a garage and welder.  It may take me a few days, but I'll itemize a list of parts and start a thread in the Cars for Sale section.  Sorry I'm so if'y at the moment, I'll try to nail something fair down soon.

I agree nice find!!! but I'd toss out the traction bars first, and then the radiator hose
Like the wheels and it's got a 440 too :woo: :ylsuper:
I would almost think about holding on to the other Cuda, you might run across a deal on a good back half and next thing you know you have two Cudas!!!!
Glad it worked out good for ya.

That really sucks,It looks like it had a lot of potential! I would track down another shell. It would be a lot of work to put  a rear clip on that, plus who knows what else got bent, after taking a hit like that! You wouldn't want to put a ton of money and time into fixing that, and not have it drive straight after!

Funny story:

So I went to Indiana to buy the 74 Barracuda.  After I bought it, the guy said that someone offered to pay $3000 more for the car to stiff me, and that they would be there before I would.  The guy said nope, that's not the way I do business.  Less than 5 minutes later, my wife called, saying the guy with the other 70 Cuda just left a message, saying that deal fell through and the car is available again.  I said tough luck buddy, I'm buying this purple one now, chance blown.  When I got home, I received a check for $600 in the mail from him, which covered the $50 I spent with Western Union, and a little spiff, so maybe it was an honest mistake.  Who knows, but it makes me feel bad for attacking him on here.

Kinda looks like Cuda buyers are pretty willing to stiff each other though.  Sheesh.  Just glad to have one again.

Though a little late, congrats on securing that nice looking '74 Barracuda, Zerfetzen!!!! :clapping: :woo:  It's a bummer the deal with the '70 didn't work out for you soon enough, but this is a cleaner car to work with now anyways. :grinyes:
