Exhaust Question - 70 Cuda
« on: April 19, 2006 - 07:54:28 AM »
I know that there are companies that make aftermarket exhaust kits from the headers (collectors) on back, (TTI, dynomax, flowmaster etc.) And from what I am reading TTI is the best. The question is this - Can the same kit (from the collector back), be used on a small block (340) and on a big block (383). In other words, is the width the same for a BB & SB where the collectors are (both using headers) ??

I would probably ask TTI that question . . . they seem to be very helpful!   :clapping:

I would say yes , the H pipe systems have a slip tube H pipe & can be adjusted for width , the X pipe may not work but they make adapters for most headers too

I called them (TTI) and they said yes, the same kit would work on both a bb & sb.  Thanks for the response.....
