It runs 9.90 wide open. I am rebuilding everything to race in Div. 7 Super Gas...

O.K. It weighs 2,825# with me in it. I hope to shed another 300# with the new chassis/glass situation. In the picture it ran 10.11 @132 with ported IRON heads, 447 ci,roller cam, aluminum rods, 13.9 compression, step headers and mufflers. Oh, tunnel ram with two race demon 750's. Torque-flight, 5,500 rpm TCI converter and 4.29 gears in a 9" rear. Basic ladder-bar, Pro-Street chassis built buy Chris Alston back in the 70's. Evidently the car was Super Gas runner up in Seattle at the Northwest Nats. Sometime in the 90's. The new chassis is state of the art, mild steel, double frame rail, 4-link/strut from Alston. The new engine is 496 ci with same cam, ported Edelbrock heads and single dominator with a throttle stop. We will dyno the engine in about two weeks. The main part of the chassis is done, the body is mounted and the tin work continues. More pics to follow. Here is where a new chassis starts...
