How do you remove the right angle oil filter adapter on a small block?

ONE BIG BOLT RIGHT IN THE CENTER. YOU WILL NEED NEW GASKETS TO PUT BACK ON. I HAD A LOT OF LEAKS TILL I REPLACED WITH OE GASKETS, DOUBT IF THEY ARE AVAIL. FROM DC ANYMORE.

would it be easier just to not use it at all and go straight to the block.

you would need the factory adaptor plate off another small block & depending on the exhaust you have you may not have clearance for the oil filter without the adapter

I bought the gaskets from Mancini Racing. I can't remember if they were MP parts or not.
