Bell Housing Question

I have a 70 Cuda that is coded for a 383hp 4sp that currently has a 340 in it with the original 4sp tranny. I have another 383 that I am planning to put back in to it. I know that the bell housing is different and I need to find one. What year (years) (68 -77???) bell housing would be compatible for my application ? It's funny because every time I look on ebay the big blocks' housing is at least 5 times the cost of the small blocks'. I want to make sure that I get the right one.... Also, any aftermarket housings for mopar bb's??

ti depend what flywheel you use , you can use either the 10.5" /10,95" with the alum bel & 130 tooth flywheel from 71 up  or the 11" with the 143 tooth flywheel & the cast bel  used up to 69
 Passion makes there own new casting , Brewers has reconditioned ones & possibly there own new casting as well also Keisler has a nice heavier bel but I am not a fan of dealing with Keisler

Make sure that you get the Aluminum one with the 4.8" front bearing hole.   I had another big-block one that was cast iron with the smaller 4.3" hole.  The aluminum one was the correct one for that year 383.
