Gator grain and Crocodile grain, whats the difference?

I was searching for a vinyl top to fit my Challenger and came across a web page that has  crocodile grain vinyl tops. What is the diffence in the patterns of gator gain and croc grain? My chally is a 73 and since almost nothing is as it came from the factory, I was kind of thinking about a croc grain vinyl top.

I've only heard it called gator grain. I suppose the two could be the same, though. Good luck finding some - extremely hard to get a hold of.

Is that vinyl you have linked, the same durability/grade as an appropriate rooftop vinyl ?

The difference is probably in the size of the pattern.  The gator grain's pattern is fairly large...all the others we looked at were about 1/2 the size.  Here's a pic of gator grain.

I read something about the different colored Croc grain tops before, going from memory I think it was Ford that used them sometime around '73 - '75?
