I managed to get 1 set , good heads , worked great & truly bolted on
Did you keep them for yourself or did you sell them to a customer?

Hot Rodder / Moper, sorry for the late reply.
I wanted to get Bulldog heads (on advice from Chryco) but you are correct - they are no longer available. I waited 9 months after ordering but alas none still by then. CP put some Bulldogs on a customer's Charger in Calgary and he claims some exceptional power increases. I am using the new Indy 440 EZ's. Got them from Muscle motors and they offer good service. Eric at MM asked all the right questions when I was ordering - like pistons, cam specs, desired CR etc and they built up a set from bare Indy castings. I paid $1850 for them. Chryco has given them his seal of approval and has even stated that they look very similar to the Bulldogs. These heads have the raised exhaust ports, use a stock header and valve gear and have really nice intake and exhaust ports. Don't get confused with the next up set Indy offers which have the MaxWedge ports. Way too big for my street engine. So I can give you all a report in about three months which should see the car at least started up. BTW - we are removing the inner valve springs for the break in to try and keep cam lobes intact. We will just have to use the compressed air trick to remove the outer springs and add the inners after the cam is broken in. My cam is a Lunati 0.586 lift 255ºDur @ 050 Solid and 3 bolt.
Will talk later.

If Chryco gives his thumbs up, then some body got something right. :lol2: As for my lil' Duster project, man time has sped up, but the project hasn't... :bricks1: Anyway, I think, if it doesn't get to late, I might run by this guys house tonight, and see if either he'll let me, or if he will take the oil pan off, and heads aff so I can check the inside of the motor, if all looks good, I'll be picking up a 400 Motor, probably for like $100, and it currently has a clutch assembly on it so... But none of that matters seeing how I'm planning on making a stroker out of it.... I will have to double check the year, but I know for a fact that it's a later '70's motor, so I'm assuming maybe it's a truck block ??? More to follow on that, but as for your build, keep us up to date indeed. :drunk:
