Considering selling my Cuda
« on: May 12, 2006 - 03:31:44 PM »
My son just got accepted to a private college, so it looks like I'm going to need some $$ for tuition. I'm considering selling my 70 hemicuda clone. Car is an original 383 Cuda, and i have the #'s matching short block for it. Now has a 69 vintage .030 over 426 hemi, built right. Lots of good parts in this motor. 5 speed keisler conversion with a 4.10 Dana 60 b body rear. Car was rotessorie restored, lazer straight body and fantastic paint. Black interior, fully restored. Lots of NOS parts in this car through-out. I can send lots of pics, but please dont waste my time if you are not serious. I'd be willing to take a partial trade, but only on specific mopars. Viper, AAR or TA, 71 Roadrunner or 70 Charger would be considered. Cash deal would be $90K. Remember if you are thinking trade, I need cash for my son's tution, so in a trade I'd allow 40-50K for your car as market would dictate.

I'm not so sure i want to do this, but the reality of the situation is my son's future comes before my car obcession.

thats gotta be tough to let a car that immaculant go. However college is very important, as i have 2 weeks to graduate. Hopefully you won't be paying for his education in full and make him pay a percentage of it. good luck!

Not trying to tell you what to do but Student loan $$ is the cheapest interest you can get.  I would take the loans, Trust me I am a professional you will never get money as cheap as student loans.

Just my thoughts.  NICE CAR....!!  Best of luck with your decision.
