Just got mine made about 6 weeks ago. I won't be going to any shows (not my scene) but it's good to have one hanging in the garage if my mind changes. The corners have covers for protection but can be easily removed.

The flash makes the image appear lighter but in real life it's darker. Looks good IMO.

Photo 1 - My template I made from home.
Photo 2 - The finished version from the display shop.
I would have made it myself but don't have the copier tools etc.

Barry,

I have seen some display placards like you are describing.  But it seems that most folks are going with a ring binder with plastic page holders.  Inside the holders are pics and a page or so of car specific info.  Folks keep the binder laying under the hood or in the open trunk and folks pick it up and look through it.  I don't know whether to put together a display board, or go with the binder idea.   :clueless:  Till I decide, I have a few info sheets with pics laying on the dash that folks can see through the windshield.........   Oldschool

Oldschool, you could also carry a photo album, a big one showing photos of the restoration or photos of the car in various stages of it's life. I have one from start to finish. Let the photos do the talking.

If they have any questions they can just ask you.

Here is a cool idea that I found on the Summit Racing website.  It is a display board kit with software templates to create your own display boards.  Not bad for $55...

That's neat, but at only 28" high and 17" wide it's pretty small....... :sly: :-\
