1971 Non-AC Heater Box/Fresh Air Setup

Hey Guys,
              I just removed an aftermarket A/C system of my Cuda. I might add that it was a real hack job...for instance the heater hoses were coming in through the bottom of the firewall and not from the top. I want to go back to stock here. Other than the non- A/C heater control that I have , I don't have anything else yet for this process. Need a picture, part description or a contact to see how a non-a/c car is setup from under the dash and coming in from the engine. I am also unsure if there was supposed to be a fresh air system on a non /ac car. Currently the the whole system worked on vacuum which I know is not right.                        Thanks Alot,  AL

Any news on this? I have an original A/C car and am trying to figure out what components to put back. I think I am going to rebuild the stock A/C box and then get all new underhood components. HAven't "officially" decided yet though.

HotCuda, The few non A/C e-body cars I had had duel fresh air intakes an either side of the car down low, the drivers side was behind the kick pannel I think and the pass side was next to the heater box. The non A/C cars use cables to operate the system. I don't currently have a non A/C car and those were years ago. Hopefully someone else can help with the rest of your question.
