Viper front brakes and rear disc
« on: June 16, 2006 - 04:53:12 AM »
I recently picked up a set of 1996 viper gts calipers. I also am going to get SSBC rear disc conversion. My questions is what Master Cylinder are you guys using when you have 4 wheel disc brakes. Also I know I need a propotioning valve, but is anything else needed?

Thanks

You know I was just reading on eof my off-road mags and in the new products section it had a company that made a proportioning valve that could be used with disc/drums, disc/disc, drum/drum they said you name this ONE valve will do the trick.  Problem is I haven't been able to locate that mag since I saw that ad.  MIght want to do a search on google for off-road proportioning valve, Jeep conversion proportioning valve or something like that.  If I find it I'll post it up.

Have you tried talking to SSBC about this.  They probably have the right master cylinder and propotioning valve for you.
