Help! Cuda won't crank

Now you need to hang a clutch pedal switch on the pedal. One end to ground and the other end to the relay.  If you don't put that switch in, sooner or later, your car will start in gear and either cause damage or run somebody over.  It'll happen so fast that you wont be able to stop it.  I know this first hand.
If you don't buy an original replacement, make something that works.

Perhaps I can adapt a brake switch.

Just mount some kind of push button switch so that the clutch pedal hits it when it is pressed all the way in.
A brake switch doesn't have the throw needed.

I was think of doing it the other way - the switch closes when the pedal is pushed off of the stop.

That'll start the car but the clutch could still grab a crash you into something.  It's your car so do whatever.  Make sure you take pics for us when you hit something.

Why thanks Matt.    Like I said in my first post, I know first hand what happens when you don't have a clutch safety switch hooked up.  It cost me money and I didn't take any pics to send up. It happened to me, moving a car on a lot, crashing into MY own Challenger, because some idiot decided to bypass that switch then get rid of the car.
You can take that statement any way you want to.
