Pre-Magnum small block mopar parts!!! brand new Edelbrock Torker 2 intake, Comp Cams camshaft XE-262H-10 grind, Mopar Performance Parts oil pan, polished aluminum valve covers, plug wires, hv oil pump, fuel pump, MPP lifters, pushrods, 360 heads (rebuilt 4 years ago, new MPP dual springs), 77 cam bearings, Edelbrock roller timing set.
for 600$ in the local paper....worth it or not?

Sounds about right if the stuff is new.  Figure intake is $125, Cam kit is $150 incl lifters, Polished Valve covers are usually around $100, roller timing set is another $100, costs around $250-350 to get heads rebuilt.  THe other stuff (wires, fuel & oil pumps) can easily be another $100-200.  I would not go too much higher than that and I'd even see if the guy would take a little less to get the stuff out of his way. 

Make sure when you call him to ask what other Mopar stuff he has and specifically ask if he has cars for sale - that is how you can get some of the best deals - by asking someone about an abandoned project.
