argent paint
« on: June 04, 2006 - 05:16:55 PM »
Anyone use Totally Auto textured argent paint on their grills. Looking to do my '71 grill and was wondering how
many cans it would take and if it looks half way decent?
 Thanks in advance

Sorry I can't help with that brand of paint, I used Mopar Argent Silver when I did my grille, If I remember correctly, I used half a can of primer and about 1 can of paint.

I used less than 1 can for my '73 grill. Luckily though, I bought 2 cans, with one flowing so badly that I had spots and clumps everywhere. Trashed that can for the other and it worked out fine.

I used there paint and never had any issues with it other than the cost and the shipping charges.

One can should be plenty enough for you. That stuff goes on real nice.
