Highest quality show chrome bumpers?
« on: May 29, 2006 - 12:34:02 PM »
 :pullinghair: :stomp: :swear: :banghead:

Happy Memorial Day! Pull the car out for a nice drive and Bam!! Two young girls rear ended me!!

Luckily she was going slow and I seen her coming so I started going which limited the damage to the bumper only.
Which WAS new and perfect.

Anyways...who offers the BEST... COST NO OBJECT ...SHOW CHROME BUMPERS  ???
Do I get mine redone or exchange?

Sorry for the rant, but my blood pressure hasn't came back down yet.
I know it could have been much worse.

Can you post any pics? Is it saveable? What did their insurance company say? They better play nice, that's all I can say. Why should you be doing the leg work here???    :swear:

well first of all that really bites,, gotta hate that cap, but, file a claim with their insurance company,,, and make them pay for it,,,, They are at fault afterall and should be responsible for there actions.  I'll bet they had cell phones to there ears and not paying attention to what they were doing.  :hyper: :swear:

probably the way I'm going.
Even other show chrome places that advertised in Hemmings recommended Tri city.

Now just have to get the bumperette question answered...rubber or no rubber for '70 Challenger

now I just gotta get the money from the girl that hit me's Dad.
He came and looked at it today and thought my cost estimate to fix was high.
He's a Corvette guy and he's going to look into the bumper's himself......

He's going to look into the bumpers himself??? Forget that! Sounds like he's trying to lowball ya.
I don't think he has a leg to stand on as long as you got her insurance. I'd just call them up and tell them what happened, and let them tell you what to do. Not some guy who's trying to keep his daughters accident from his insurance company.
