Thats cool NZ!  I bet your were like a kid at christmas!  I would be.  The wing was definately the proof of it being yours.  Didn't need a licence plate.

I blocked the number plate, but trust me it matches mine is what I meant, my bad.
Same plates as I have on now are on that car in the photos above. It's 100% my car.

TropicalCats got the same trip down memory lane when the previous owner sent him pics of his plum Challenger from some 25-odd years ago. That sure added to the excitement/vision of getting the restoration launched.

Same thing when CODY posted pics of his red sixpack Cuda from the early 80's....these goosebumps you get jumping back in time seeing the same car in a different light! Mixed with seeing things from the 80's in the background....just made it too surreal to see! 

Must be the effect of how old photos look..... still waiting for the day I find/get one of mine!

Even though the wing was keen in its day, you did the right thing removing it. Never seen one like it, pretty unmistakable!
