Crazy weather
« on: April 24, 2002 - 05:43:38 AM »
How is the weather for you guys? We had 4 days last week in the high 80's low 90's then it dropped down to the 50's on the weekend. Then it snowed on Monday but it is back up to the mid 60's for the middle of hte week. It sucks to know that I was finally driving the car last week and now I just look at the shape of the car under the cover :'(

Sorry guys.  It's sunny, warm and about 78 degrees here.  Absolutely beautiful.  Of course, in about 3 months, we will be wishing we were up there; it will be sooo hot.

This weekend is the first Mopar show in our area. The show is just outside of Seattle. The weather is predicted to be cool and showery. I have been working on detailing my car and waiting for months for this show. Last weekend was perfect. What a pain. I guess the car will stay inside. Too much work involved making it look good to have it rained on at the first show.

Okay, here's the deal.

In normally sunny Western Canada at this time of year, when the tree buds should be first beginning........
we are cool, cold, warm, cold, hot, cold, warm, sunny, rain, snow and now more snow is forth coming.  >:(
For the most part, a lousy spring.

Oh! I just got up and looked outside at 9:50 p.m. It's blowing snow. Harumph.  >:(  >:(

Nuts!

I guess the grass is always greener... my kids would love to have snow right now, or anytime for that matter.  Snow in Atlanta is rare and when it snows 1 inch, it shuts down the whole city; kids stay home from school, the stores run out of bread and milk...it's crazy!

Georgia sound great. I can't remember the last time this winter we only had 1 inch. Heck, I'd be happy on a beach some where, with a fake Christmas tree in the sand. I'd even empty a bag of flour over the sand to make it look like snow ;D
