Dash choppin'
« on: June 13, 2006 - 08:16:45 PM »
My dash is pretty smacked up so I bought a cap for it.Problem is the cap has speaker mount but original dash does not. What I am thinking is carving out the dash and putting some kind of aluminum plaque in the speaker hole.My brother can make some pretty groovy stuff on the CNC at work.Any reason this wouldn't work?Any ideas what the plaque should have on it (cuda-challenger.com is a given  )

No groovy ideas yet but you reminded me of an item I ran across that replaced the speaker grill with an instrument cluster. I have tried to find it again with no luck. It reminded me of a 240Z, three round guages bumped out kinda angled toward the driver.
