clutch fan
« on: June 20, 2006 - 08:44:56 AM »
I saw in some old posts that the mopar clutch fan is better then just a regular always running fan at keeping a motor cool.  I have one that I found in the trunk of a fury at junkyard.  Is there any way for me to tell if the clutch is still good and if I should put it on my car?

the shaft should not wobble when bolted up & if it looks wet where the shaft enters the clutch it has leaded out fluid & will not work properly the good news is a new clutch unit is available from most part stores
