Help with price on a 71... it will be for sale.
« on: June 15, 2006 - 10:10:14 PM »
I went to look at a couple mopars today and to find out if they are for sale.  First off, I want to say that this guy is very cool and I had a neat time talking Mopars with him.

The first one is a 1971 Satellite.  It is an EV2 Orange car (should have a white top) with a 318.  The 318 is long gone and now it has a 72 cop motor (440) with an auto.  Very SOLID car with one little problem.  The roof on his garage calapsed in a snow storm a few years ago and landed on the car.  It will need to be repainted and have some roof work done.  None of the windows broke and the only damage is the roof.  (see the pics)

What would be a fair price for this car?

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

If that car had a nice roof, I'd say if it is as nice as the pics represent, It would bring 11-13K. With the roof needing work, and that's a part of the car that has to be STRAIGHT, I'd say it's $7-9K.

I'm a BIG fan of 71-2 runners, where is this car located?

The car is in the Portland, OR area.  Very rust free car from CA.  You want it?

He has a couple more cars.....

The black one was backed in to a tree at about 50 MPH.  It is a 318 with a 340 cam and has a broken motor mount.  Need some work.

The Barracuda is a white car with a white top and H6XW for the interior.  VERY CLEAN AND RUST FREE CA CAR!  I could not find any major rust at all.  It has been apart for MANY years.  He knows what the cuda is worth.  He's not giving these car away, but he will sell them.
