cracked glass
« on: June 17, 2006 - 06:46:46 AM »
I cracked my windshield when I was removing it ,one big one top to bottom.I already ordered a new one on ebay but was wondering if it was possible to do even a cheap ,get you by repair.I hate to throw out any piece off my car and if anyone thought they could revive it I'd give it away.Only cracked on one layer ,can anything be done with it?  :dunno: :clueless:

Junk it and use that as a learning lesson on how to take as long as it takes to get a good window out.    I've lost a few myself trying to rush a window pull.   Patience gets them out whole everytime.

Once yours cracked, it's value went to zero, unless you put it in a seller car that doesn't have one at all.

If you don't have any luck with your E-bay Windshield i am sure you can get one from any glass shop . A guy i worked with up until a month ago also works part time for Safelite Auto Glass and told me it was a common windshield and he could get it from many places , and there are still MOPAR versions to be found
