So now I understand why John's XVMotorsports suspension media blitz was timed that way. He's aiming at this deal I'd bet.  I like Foose as a person (no, just from afar..never shook hands with him), and he is a very talented artist, in addition to a gift for "seeing" things I cant. I like all his cars, except the wheel packages. He's defined a look with 20" wheels on musclecars that I just cant get interested in. The bodies and mods are cool, just looks too much like a Match Box with those huge dubs..

He builds a couple of cars people hate it and people walk away.

Troy Trepanier built the sick fish, not Foose. Met Troy and Chip both at SEMA. Troy's a very nice guy as well.

Ironically, the first time I met Chip Foose was while he was standing in front of the Sick Fish at the SEMA show in 2004. He was having a tough time getting away from the autograph seekers. Had a blast that week sitting on the set of Overhaulin.

there is always good & bad
 Possibly Foose would have the pull to get some need parts made & it may increase awareness of the Chall like Nash Bridges did with the Cudas , so this could be a good thing
 I am not a huge Foose fan but I wish I could do what he does , he seems to have a lot of fun

You need to save up your money and plan a trip to the SEMA show in Vegas. If you're into top fuel dragsters and funny cars, some years the NHRA drag races are the weekend before the show. Plan to spend a couple of weeks around the vegas area. I promise you won't run out of things to do. We're going this year and will attend the drag races on Sunday for the finals and then spend Tuesday through Friday attending SEMA. We plan to also attend the NACE trade show which is body shop industry oriented. I plan to buy a new down draft paint booth for the new resto shop that we're building while I'm at that show. The APEX show is the same week and caters to the parts guys. We met Morgan Lucas, the top fuel driver, there. Your SEMA ticket gets you into all three trade shows. We met and talked to probably 25 or 30 celebrities while we were there in 2004 and can't wait to go again this year.

Trust me mate I'd love to visit and have planned twice but I keep spending money on Mopars...... :lol2:
What can I say. lol I'd love to come but I'm also happy I now have a 'Cuda in the garage.

Sounds awesome and Las Vegas is definitely a place I want to visit, that and New York.
Pay some respect to the 9-11 ground zero site and just spend time in the BIG Apple.

I've been to Vegas and it is a blast but I can't argue with NZ, I would rather have a CUDA in the garage. Better yet NZ, you should take your cuda to Vegas. LOL. The best of both worlds.

   I agree...Ive told my family that if they ever had me "foosed" that ill kill em if they let him throw out my wheels!!  Ill take a set of one off foose wheels tho..theyd pull enough on ebag to pay to put a tastefull paint job on my car after he gets done with it.. I could live with an elaphant and an od auto ect., just not his paint jobs or wheels.    I do admire alot of his Hot rods, just not what he does to muscle cars.

Sick Fish is hot. There are only a few things I don't like about the car. Losing the back seat kinda sucks. It's an automatic. I also think the wheels are a couple inches too large for my taste.

But still, given infinite funding I'd buy it over a standard '70 Hemi 'Cuda any day.

But, really, given infinite funding I'd build a '71 custom Cuda with 18s in the front and 20s in the back (as wide as I can fit under an IRS system). Either a 6.1 twin turbo Hemi or a Viper motor. If Viper, go with the brakes and the side exhaust with a current Viper style hood scoop. If 6.2TT, regular AAR hood, maybe side exhaust, maybe rear.

I'd keep the back seat, T-56 manual transmission, navigation system.

Black, everything black.

Ah... all this talk of customs gets me going. :)
