I found a couple of Diamonds in the rough today.......
« on: June 22, 2006 - 02:44:03 PM »
  Howdy folks,
I was doing what any good Mopar guy does and was asking if anyone knew of any old Mopars sitting around.  I ran across an old Chebbie buddy of mine who told me where a couple of them were.  He went with me to the location and I took a few pics.  The owner was not at the location, so I could not ask questions about prices etc...  These cars are for sale, and if anyone would like more info, let me know and I'll follow up with the owner.  The first one is an "A" bod Barracuda convertible, and the second one is a '70 Barracuda Gran Coupe.  Both are in pretty good shape for the most part, with some rust in the usual places.  The 70 lower rear quarters will need patching/replacement.  The 70 has a big block in it right now and the "A" bod has a small block in it.  Barry---the VIN on the 70 is:  BP23G0B271345.  The 5th letter might be a "C". Couldn't tell for sure.  Either way, one is a slant 6 and the other is a 318.  Anyway---this just proves they ARE out there----just keep searching.  Let me know if interested........   Oldschool

That 70 doesn't look too bad. It's suprising how good the engine bay looks. Definitely worth restoring.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
