Heater-A/C tube help
« on: June 29, 2006 - 09:09:42 PM »
Hi guys,

I am getting the engine bay ready for the motor reinstall next week and trying to tie up some lose ends. I have this rubber tube that comes thru the firewall from the heater box but I am not sure where it goes. It is circled below in red.  Is it a vacuum line the the A/C heater controls? and if so where does it connect to. Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks, Ed

Yes that is the vacuum line that supplies your heater/AC controls. It will hook up to a vacuum fitting on the manifold that has multiple nipples.

Thanks Shelby,

It has been so long since I have seen my engine that I have no point of reference until I get it back to check out what fittings are where.
