Megasquirt ?
« on: June 26, 2006 - 09:16:15 AM »
I have been thinking of converting over to Fuel injection. I heard people talk about Megasquirt and thought this might be a good option.

I have read alot on thier website. But now I feel a little overwhelmed.

For the people who have it.

Install seems pretty easy correct?

How hard was it to tune your car?

Were you much impressed over the performance over your carb set up?

Maybe I am overwhelmed becuase this is all new to me.

I met a guy on the power tour named Tom Wescott. He was running Megasquirt on a crossram on a 426 Hemi, getting 16-18 MPG with a 4L60E automatic overdrive. Go back to the Megasquirt site, click on the mopar section under success stories and e-mail those guys.

I saw an EFI set up by Pro-max that uses Megasquirt for their ECU in MCG magazine.
