Has anyone heard from TheCudaGuy?
« on: July 01, 2006 - 10:32:57 AM »
I was wondering if anyone had heard from Don lately? The last I heard from him was on May 28 and looks like that was the last time he was on here. During this patriotic holiday, I have been wondering how he is doing as he has to spend this holiday in hostile territory so we can have our cookouts and fireworks. I salute you Sgt. Moore  :wavingflag:

No, I haven't.  I've been meaning to send him an e-mail....no time like the present.

It's funny this post came up just tonight.  I talked to him earlier tonight and he's doing well.  I guess he had quite the experience yesterday with mortars falling all over the place around him, but he managed to get out of there without any harm.  He sends his best to everyone else and still is looking forward to meeting up with us again at Carlisle in '07.  Don if you see this, happy Fourth of July again and stay safe man!

Hey guys I have been real busy here in Iraq.  I had a real close call the other day!  But its all good!  We are coming to the end of the deployment and all I can think of is getting home to my family!  Im coming up on reassignment and I think Im going to try to stay at FT Campbell, or put in a Warrant Officer Packet.  But we will see.  I hope everyone has a great holiday.  I will try to check in a little more often LOL!!!  I will catch you guys later.
