73 Challenger: non-console Hurst 4 speed to console
« on: July 01, 2006 - 10:15:55 PM »
Besides the console itself, what else is needed to convert the floor-mount Hurst pistol grip shifter to a console mount?

Are the shifters themselves the same? <fingers crossed>

Thanks in advance.

The Shifters are the same.  Besides the complete 4 speed console, you need the plate on top of the hump that the 2 screws inside  the door screw to and a bracket in front that the front of the console mounts to.   Brackets and plates can be made since both are hidden under the console.
