The brake booster on this Challenger looks different than other ones that I have seen on known PB cars.

This is most likely standard, non-power drum brakes, no?

You have manual drum brakes...there would be a booster otherwise.

Dont you love the way Chrysler would throw a BB at drum brakes?I have them on my GC as well,not for long.

Could be non-power DISC brakes. You need to look behind the front wheels to tell. Definately not power though..

My 73 challenger has non power disc brakes . It looks exactly as that one in the picture above.

They did have non power disc brakes available on Ebodys, but not in 1970. I think the non power DB option started in '71 or '72.
The engine compartment shot shows a drum brake style master cylinder. The disc brake one has one fluid chamber that is about 3X the volume of the second fluid chamber. Also the lid is held on by a bail wire. The drum brake master cylinders through 1970 had a bolt on filler cap.

It's a strange set-up for sure. I have 73-76 A-body disc brakes on the front of my car. Manual to boot. I once had AC, but my master cylinder looks nothing like that. I really don't think that is Mopar. I think it might be an after-market master cylinder.

Unless it is from some 80's Mopar, then that I wouldn't know about. $:-\$

You are correct, I went and looked and mine has the wire bail that holds the cap on.
