:dunno:Hey guys got a question what is involved in the removal of the oil filter plate on a small block have a leak there and want to get it plugged also wanna give mad props to the board and all the members after reading all the posts on electrical problems (wouldn't start )finally got mine resolved
now I can start drivin my chally around again

The threaded fitting that the oil filter screws into has a square hole in the center. Insert a 3/8" socket extension (just the extension, no socket) in the square hole and ratchet it out. That fitting holds the plate in.
