Unless you were talking about a pool on the islands it stands to reason that the ocean water temps would indeed be cool comparred to the air temp. However a shallow pool soaking up the sun's rays will not be cool in 80-100 degree weather.
There ain't nothing wrong with blonde haired ladies either by the way, in fact some times my wife will use a little product called Sun In or something like that, it's not a dye but with the effect of the summer sun it lightens the color of the hair. I've seen pictures of my wife when she was a teen
and she told me her hair was blonde until she turned about 20 and then it started to darken. Her daughter was blonde when I met them, she too now has brown hair..? And our daughter has a lil girl that has had blonde hair since birth, we wonder if hers will darken too. That must be quite an unusual thing to happen ? But when Pam does something "off the wall" I just tell her not to worry, it's just those blonde roots trying to resurface.
