Buddy of mine killed a motor doing that, with no pan baffles/windage the old goes to one side, in his case...left the pickup open long enough to hurt it.


but ive done a couple in my day on the big patch of concrete behind the local lowes when it was wet out a couple months ago. had it in second gear and was goin to town for a few before i let off. always a good rush

Wow he must have been going long enough to get pretty dizzy    I used to run 3/8 dirt track with a stock oil pan, no windage tray.  We had to run a solid valve cover on the right side to keep it from blowing out oil, but long at it was full of oil we didn't have any pick up problems, and the track was more of a "D" shape so we had a very short time we weren't turning.  Don't know, maybe that was just enough to keep us going.
