Best place to buy an Engine Harness? Dash Harness?
« on: September 25, 2006 - 07:40:36 AM »
Any recommendations?  I saw Year One's pricing, and wonder if there are any supplier's that might get the job done cheaper...

Thanks in advance!

This has been addressed before..

I think the general thought is that YO makes the most complete, correct and easily installed wiring harness.

Year one has the contract for the harness with the manufacture for another 5 years so you have to pay there price,or you can call;Bill and Rose Evens at;1-814-864-2622 and they will make you a very nice harness with the correct color codes and terminals

M&H Electric Fabricators http://www.wiringharness.com/ makes the wiring harnesses for YearOne.  they have a site, and although thye don't have their Mopar harnesses listed online, you can get a catalog from them.  I compared a '69 Camaro engine harness on their site versus YearOne, and they're definately cheaper bought directly.  Or you could also, as mentioned above, use Evans http://evanswiring.tripod.com/ for harnesses...seems pretty comparable for price...

I used the M&H harness purchased from Year One.  You can beat them, they are almost a perfect match.

:iagree:  M&H is the best.  Get a year one 20% off code and go for it!

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

If you want to lookup which harness you need go to

http://www.wiringharness.com/chrysler.htm

You didn't say what engine you have, but the pricing even without a discount is so close to the Evans price that the modern uprades in the YO harness makes it an easy decision compared to the other harness.

Where do you come up with this information at??  The YO exclusive has no time frame on it.

Check this out if you want to compare the differences in the harnesses.
