Another Insurance Question/Comment
« on: July 10, 2006 - 09:29:02 PM »
It seems like every insurance post I see shows some really CHEAP rates. Ok so the policy on The Big Girl is due in about 2 weeks. So I go online to get some quotes. Full coverage of course. The cheapest I have found is $123 a year... this is for a car in the $12-15k value range. Does this seem high for a car in that range?? With the usual good driving record, not in the high risk age group (not by a long shot!) and driven less than 2k a year. I'm starting to wonder if it's the state I  live in... Wi??  :feedback: .

I think that's an amazing price.

That is a great price...especially for full coverage. I get the same rate up here in Alberta for my cuda, just have to keep the tickets down.

The  $123?? American Collectors as I recall but hagerty and Grundy were real close. Got Am FAm now for $160 but thats for $10k coverage and she's had alot of improvements scince the last appraisal. And Am Fam will only insure classic/collectable cars on appraised value - not agreed value

I went with Hagerty for one reason the agreed value. The customer service also was also great but that was just to sign me up. We will see what happens if I ever have a claim
