Proper Oil Filter for '71 383

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what oil filter would be appropriate for my 1971 383 Cuda. I was looking at the Mopar filters but they are vague on the details of what exactly they fit.  IF you had good experiences with other brands and can post a part number that would be great.

Fram #s are PH 8 or PH 43 , but Do Not use fram filters , THEY Suck, use a decent  filter

You anit kidding, Fram filters suck,right into your oil pump, and lock it up!  For some reason f few years back, Mopar used Fram filters, with Chrystler/Mopar on them, my friend worked at the chrystler shop and put one on his 440.  It sucked up into his oil pump and stoped it, he shut it down as soon as he lost oil preasure.  Didn't hurt it but Chrystler gave him everything to rebuild it right, and a cool warranty paper. I bought the car and have the cool paper too. if I can find it I'll post it.

I've used Fram all of my life on every car that I've ever owned and on all of my race cars.(alot of cars)
 I've never had a bad one yet. (I use the cheap Orange ones too)

Not that I'm defending Fram, but they make a few different filters. I believe it's the cheap orange colored one everyone bashes. The others are of higher quality(so I hear). I sprung for the K&N filter. You could step on it, and it wouldn't bend. There is a nice 1" nut on the end of it, so you don't even need an oil filter wrench to remove it.

virtually anything is better Purolater , K&N, Wix , Baldwin etc there is a study on oil filters on the internet showing which were the best & worst but I don not have th link to it , someone here must have it though or check on google , I think ther purolater Pure 1 was tops though
