Well, no name calling from this direction, but I will add this.
The Mopar engine books are decent guides for building an engine package to a desired performance level but you can not take everything you read in Mopar engine books as fact when it comes down to factory options and parts, it has many inaccuracies in that regard (as do most other Mopar "restoration" books and publications) and is not a reliable source of information on production line details or parts availability.
Concerning your comment about "Autohobbydigest.com" Yes, there are allot of armchair quarterbacks on websites, no doubt about it, but I have also found that some of the MOST talented/knowledgable people in the hobby are there as well. In many cases the hobbiests know MUCH more about the history of Mopars than anyone you could ask representing the manufacturer. Seems odd I know, but it's true.
